Umeå Studentradio

Umeå Studentradio is a Sweden-based student-run non-profit radio station located in the city of Umeå that operates on the frequency 102.3 MHz (FM). The station’s aim is to offer as varied a range of programs as possible in order to attract a wide audience. The station’s frequency is shared with a number of organizations and companies that broadcast local radio in Umeå. The station is a member of Studentradion i Sverige (Student Radio in Sweden), a nationwide youth organization established in 1993 to support and encourage student radio activities across the country. Its program therefore includes everything from music programs with a clear niche to talk programs with a general appeal. The station typically airs on weekdays starting at 5:00 PM.
